This was another proud day for the Patriots!
Haley Nowak is only the second athlete (and first girl) to win 2 individual State Sectional Titles. Dan Chaves did this for the boys team in 1998 and 1999.
Freshman Deborah Biru (4th) and Carm Sanci (6th) had the Patriots with 3 runners in the “Top 10” and our girl’s team takes 2nd place / team silver medals !
Younes Abada (4th) and Vishwa Naik (10th) lead our boys team to a 3rd place / Team bronze medal finish.
We opened a lot of eyes today. This is the 10th time in the last 11 years that the girls teams have been team medalists in the Sectional Championships. This is the 9th time in the last 10 years that the boys teams have been team medalists.
Consistency and hard work is what makes this program the successful tradition that it is! You were all a part of this today; everyone did their job.
